To this end, the Federal Bank provides a representative selection of counterfeits currently being withdrawn from circulation. If the counterfeit detector is able to recognize all these "flowers" without a doubt, they receive a certificate from the German Federal Bank for 100% counterfeit detection. Banks may only use counters and test instruments with certificates to provide their customers with the necessary security.
