With the infrared detection, special infrared features on the banknotes are measured and checked . The infrared features are, for example, features which are not visible to the eye and very difficult to counterfeit, therefore the infrared detection is considered as a very reliable method of detecting counterfeit banknotes.
Magnetic Ink
With the magnetic ink detection (soft magnetic characteristics), special magnetic features of the ink of genuine banknotes are checked. If a banknote is recognized in the counting process without these special features, this banknote can be identified as suspicious by the machine.
Banknote Size
With the size detection, the size of each banknote is automatically measured and checked during the counting process. Thus suspicious banknotes with abnormal proportions can be reliably recognized and sorted out.
UV-detection
With the UV-detection, ultraviolet security feature at each banknote are checked . At suspicious banknotes, often differences in the area of the ultraviolet characteristics are observed. These data are detected during the counting process by the software, thus suspicious banknotes can be detected.
Single counting, 4-fold counterfeit detection, updatable
With the banknote counter PC 600 E2 and its counterfeit detection, daily cash accounting can reliably be counted and checked for authenticity. After counting, the banknote counter displays the counted quantity at the display.
This device counts the new 200 Euro banknote, the new 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Euro banknote and still all banknotes of the first Euro banknote series.

Here the number of banknotes is determined, a valuation of the bills is not made. Sheet counting is suitable for counting unmixed notes.
With the integrated counterfeit detection, it is possible to detect up to 10 security features on banknotes simultaneously. If the values of a banknote are not in the standard, the banknote is recognized as suspicious. The counting process is interrupted or the banknote is sorted out.
With the DD-size detection (height size detection) the height of the bill is determined. This function can be used for sorting the variety of foreign banknotes in unmixed stacks or in mixed batch. For Euro notes, the DD-Size detection can only be till the 100 Euro notes, because the height is equal at 100, 200 and 500 Euro notes.
With activated addition function, the results of multiple counting operations are added. This is very useful if, for example, more banknotes than possible in one batch, are counted.
The batch function is used to create predefined bundles of banknotes, e.g. 100 notes. The desired batch size can be adjusted prior to counting by using the keypad. The banknote counting machine automatically interrupts by reaching the prior adjusted batch size, the counted bundle can be removed.
If a banknote is fed to the device, it recognizes this by its hopper sensor. The counting process starts automatically and the banknotes are counted.
Updatability describes the possibility to perform relevant updates (such as currency updates).
The hopper capacity is the maximum number of banknotes that can be counted in one transaction or find space on the banknote hopper.
The stacker capacity is the maximum number of banknotes that can be counted in a process or found space in the banknote stacker.
The counting speed defines the number of notes which can be counted in one minute.

In this example, the machine counts about 800 banknotes per minute.
Through complete sentences or corresponding error codes, errors are indicated by the machine in the display and signaled with a acoustic signal. The description of the individual faults can be found in the user manual.
In order to ensure safe and correct use, all machines are equipped with the CE-Certificate and the corresponding declaration of conformity.

This machine determines the value of the banknote by detecting the colour and size of the banknote. The modern colour measurement method detect the colour of the banknote by means of a sophisticated sensor unit. Furthermore, the banknote is measured in height and width by means of a further developed light barrier technology.
The precise detection of the colour, height and width of the banknote serves to accurately recognize the value of the banknote.
